We offer the jewelry in the salon, and in the prices above, the jewelry is included. We have always recommended that medical grade stainless steel or titanium jewelry be worn initially, as the other metals can cause allergies.
Thus, we show you the options we have in the salon or you can tell us which version of jewelry you have chosen, if you have already chosen something.
It is different from person to person. Considering the fact that the skin is pierced with a needle, there is some discomfort, but depending on everyone’s tolerance to pain, this discomfort differs.
The good thing is that the pain is temporary, lasting a few seconds. We prepare you completely before starting the process anyway!
HOW DOES THE WHOLE PROCESS WORK?
HOW DO I CARE FOR THE PIERCING AFTER?
The first step, before anything else, you will complete a self-declaration.
*You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
We choose the jewelry together, from the collection we have at the salon, and then we sterilize it.
You get comfortable and we start showing you the materials we’ll be working with, explaining everything you need to know and marking the area before we pierce it, so you can be sure it’s the right place for you.
Caring for your piercing is important for its healing and to avoid infection.
To begin with, it needs to be cleaned 2 times a day, preferably in the morning and in the evening. Cleaning will be done with a saline solution (physiological serum) and an antibacterial soap (preferably with a neutral PH). This process will be repeated twice a day for 14 days and starts the day after you get your piercing. For example, you did it today -> from tomorrow you start cleaning 🙂
We will not use alcohol-based solutions or hydrogen peroxide for cleaning.
Of course, the area should not be touched with dirty hands. At the same time, do not apply pressure on the jewel.
It should also be noted that, during the healing period, we must not remove the jewelry and do not use cosmetics, creams or lotions containing alcohol or perfume on the area in question.
Do you have pets? It would be better if they don’t sleep with you, because of the hair that the fluffies can leave 🙂
The healing process differs depending on the area where the piercing was done, but everyone’s body also matters.
Lob: 2 months
Tongue: 2-4 months
Lip: 4 months
Cartilage, Nose, Navel, Eyebrows: 4-6 months
Intimate, Nipples, Dermal: 6 months +
